Come on out and see us!

Volunteer opportunities are always available. If you are a group leader and would like to schedule a time for your group to participate, please contact Kim Bish at nlcg30263@gmail.com.
HOW YOU CAN HELP IN YOUR COMMUNITY GARDEN:
1) It sounds typical but we need weeds pulled daily during active growing seasons! Buckets have been set out by the barn with a sign. Just work your way down the garden beds and pull up any weeds you see (be careful to know how to distinguish weeds from carrot tops.. but in most cases its obvious what are the weeds and what is the actual vegetable.
2) It is vital that we have help harvesting/watering daily once the busy part of the summer hits!!
3) Grounds maintenance - we always need people to cut the grass or run a weed eater.
4) Ask us how to be involved with helping on a committee or in a group. Here are our committees/groups:
-Composting
-Mentoring
-Sustainability Row Adoption
-Grounds Keeping
-Raised Bed Area
5) Ask us how your group or organization can help for a scheduled workday.
