Raised Bed Community

Email us (nlcg30263@gmail.com)  if you would like a raised bed and we will let you know how you can go about getting one.

Here is what you need to know about the raised beds available for lease:

-Each box is $85.00 and the lease goes for a full year.  After then, the leased plot will have to be renewed and can be gardened for an entire year.

-The boxes are made out of quality cedar wood and are 4ft.x8ft. They are 10 inches high.

-The boxes are a very low price this year for a couple of reasons:  We want them to be affordable and you will need to provide your own soil, soil ammendments, compost, seedlings, plants, etc.  Some boxes may be used and have soil in them so you only need to add soil amendments.  If this is the case, we encourage gardeners to contribute $100 versus $85 since you do not need to spend your funds on new soil.

-Churches, individuals, families, local businesses and grant recipients have all been represented in our Raised Bed Gardening section.  All gardeners welcome whether it is your very first time or you are an experienced farmer or master gardener!

-Every represented raised bed will be given a list of guidelines to follow, including a strict no chemical or pesticide rule which keeps up with our standard of being as natural and organic as possible.

-Each gardener is asked  to help in the entire garden's efforts and help further the mission of the garden.  We make this easy by joining a group. To obtain more details about these groups, send us an email.  Our committees are:
-Composting
-Watering/Harvesting
-Grounds Keeping
-Mentoring

We currently have raised beds available for lease!  Contact us today to reserve yours!
